  1. O give thanks unto the LORD,
    God of gods, with one accord,
    For His steadfast love is sure;
    It shall evermore endure.
  2. Praise the mighty King of kings
    Who alone does wondrous things,
    For His steadfast love is sure;

  3. He by wisdom framed the skies,
    Made the earth from ocean rise,
    For His steadfast love is sure;

  4. He by day gave sun for light,
    Moon and stars to rule the night,
    For His steadfast love is sure;

  5. He made Egypt’s greatness vain,
    Caused their firstborn to be slain,

  6. He stretched out His mighty hand,
    Brought out Israel from that land,
